Beaches / 8.30pm
"Spectral harmonies and guitar drones subverting southern rock and pretty 1960s melodies"
(The Age)
Darren Sylvester / 9.30pm
Popular visual artist, Darren Sylvester layers an infectious blend of 80s driven guitar, synth and drums
Zond / 10.30pm
Maximum volume, minimalist sound. Zond is a looming car crash of a band who leave a burning trail of destruction in their wake
Into The Void (NZ) / 11.30pm
New Zealand's statesmen of space metal, led by iconic visual artist Ronnie van Hout. A caustic, chaotic, sprawling sonic extravagance
5a Railway Place, Richmond 3121, Melbourne VIC, Australia
Hell Gallery is now closed. Thanks to everyone for the good times! Hell Gallery was founded in January 2008, by artists Jess Johnson and Jordan Marani, who operated it for three years. Hell was built from materials salvaged from the skips of larger art institutions where they both worked as freelance art installers. The Hell domain consisted of Hell Gallery, Hell Toupee (mini gallery), studios, performance stage, garden bar & BBQ. Hell's stolen motto was 'build it and they will come'. Hell is dedicated to Jess and Jordys two cats, Mike & Kelly (RIP).
